The first time I went boating, I was in college. It was my senior year and I had been dating this girl for about a month. We went out to dinner and after dinner we went to a bar where we drank some beer and watched football. The next thing I knew, it was 2:00 am and I was getting up to go home. My girlfriend was upset that I was leaving so early and I told her that I was just going to the bathroom. She got up and started to walk towards the bathroom and I grabbed her by the wrist and pulled her back into bed with me. I said, “If you’re not going to sleep with me, then why are you here?”
She looked at me and said, “Because I want to go boating tomorrow.”
I said, “Okay, but I’m not going to sleep with you until you promise to do what I say!”
She promised and we spent the rest of the night boating together. We didn’t get any sleep that night because she kept waking up and asking if we were there yet.
We went boating twice more before we broke up. That was a long time ago. Now, I’m a professional boat captain.
A few years ago I took my wife boating on a lake near our house. We had a great time. The following week, my wife came down with a fever and was throwing up. I took her to the emergency room and they gave her some medication and sent us home. A few days later, she was still sick so I took her back to the emergency room. They gave her another round of medication and sent us home again. She was sick for about two weeks. I didn’t take her boating again until she was better.
I have taken my wife boating several times since then and each time we have had a great time. I know that she loves boating as much as I do. So, when I saw the ad in the paper for a cruise ship to come to the beach, I thought it would be fun for us to go on one.
The cruise ship came to the beach and we went on board. We ate breakfast on the deck and watched people playing volleyball. Then we went below deck and played games like shuffleboard and poker.
After we finished playing the games, we had lunch and then we went swimming. We swam all day and we even had a little picnic on the deck of the ship. After we had eaten our picnic, we played more games and watched movies. Then we went back below deck and ate dinner. We watched some more movies and fell asleep.
When we woke up, the ship was anchored in the middle of the ocean. We had to go back on shore to get our luggage. We walked back to the dock and waited for our car to pick us up. When we got back to the hotel, we had a nice nap and then we went out to dinner. We had a wonderful time.
I took my wife boating last summer and we had a wonderful time. I think that it will be a lot of fun for us to take another cruise ship vacation this summer.
